My Story
I am originally from Finland, I'm almost 63 and my history with this region started in 1999 when I left the professional life and moved to Pau with my daughter. I spent a year at the University of Pau learning French. After that year I jumped into the deep end of the pool and I have with years become fluent in French.
I have a natural desire to help people with their French and I have had a lot of very encouraging feedback.
Why me? Well, I was in my mid 30's without school background in French when I started. I know how difficult it is in the beginning to understand and to be understood. With small steps and motivation it can be done. I will teach everyday French, I am not a trained language teacher but I have a talent to make people gain confidence.
Why don't you tell me what your wishes are, would you just like have a French vacation? Would you like to reach conversational level with your "forgotten" French? Would your highschool kid need encouraging in speaking French?
Together we'll plan the stay and set targets.
